Hermes Construction Co.
Hermes Construction was founded in 1995.  Since that time the company has designed and built industrial projects, religious facilities, and a wide variety of commercial building and remodeling projects. Hermes Construction continues to expand its design-build and construction management branches to meet the needs of the growing commercial community in Northern Kentucky.  Hermes Construction thrives due to the interweaving of the talents of the Hermes brothers and the construction management professionals they hire.

Erik Hermes             Erik
Erik Hermes, President, began learning about construction by being a construction laborer for his father’s business. This hands on experience created a foundation for him to understand the hidden problems of all construction.  He learned the effects of:
  • the land the building is to occupy,
  • the community ordinances,
  • to identify design inefficiencies,
  • effective and efficient land usages.
Erik then began estimating job costs and overseeing commercial construction. He studied Operations Management at University of Cincinnati, and was hired to handle all operations and expansion of the R.A. Hermes, Inc. properties (totaling over 500,000 sq. ft). In 1995 the Erik wanted to pursue more development opportunities so he founded Hermes Construction Co.
Under Erik’s leadership; Hermes Construction Co. has completed retail, industrial, office, entertainment,
food service, medical, and religious facilities projects. Notable customers include L’Oreal, Molina Health,
DHL, Thyssen Krupp, Celanese, Ludlow Garage, and Bogarts.
Currently Erik serves on the Board of Directors for Gateway Community and Technical College and Care
Net Pregnancy Services. In addition, he serves as the Rifle Coach for Campbell County 4-H Sharp Shooters.
Erik resides in Cold Spring, KY where he has lived for the past 24 years.
